 Liable of creating new partnerships for the GCC regional offices and manage all donors relations activities.  Working closely with UNHCR offices to guarantee proper implementation of projects agreements signed with GCC partners. Working with UNHCR offices to improve donor briefings and real time information sharing from the field. Working as a liaison officer between GCC partners and UNHCR field offices, especially in areas related to visibility and recognition of contributions. Working with partners on developing visibility plans with the aim of improving recognition of contributions to UNHCR by GCC donors Supporting senior management in representing UNHCR in the UN Country Team and other UN coordination fore. Assisting in the coordination of the drafting of, situation reports, briefing notes, background material, talking points, fact sheets, press releases and articles. Supporting, and participating in, local UN integrated missions, Inter-Agency Standing Committee, Emergency Relief Coordinator and Cluster communication strategies and initiatives.

 Worked closely with the country director of the organization and focuses on strengthening organizational project management, MEL (monitoring, evaluation and learning) capacities, Financial Management & Governance. Worked closely with the senior team of the country office to set vision, strategic directions and guiding principles in line with the mission and strategic directions of the organization.  Responsible for ensuring that an integrated, focused improvement approach for managing all projects in the country office is in place through defining and implementing project management governance and operating processes.  In addition to the above mentioned, the advisor design capacity building plans with the aim of improving skills of project staff and beneficiaries’ representatives to be involved in project implementation and monitoring.

 Ensuring the adoption of best-practice project management tools, processes and techniques. Drawing up detailed implementation plans of how to achieve each stage of a project. Identifying and quantifying external risks affecting the project implementation. Preparing status reports for use in communication to stakeholders. Ensuring that each stage of the project is progressing to schedule. Assist in the design of the monitoring and evaluation plan of the projects.

 Building the economic empowerment component for the refugees and Egyptian communities with special focus on Women & youth (more than 300 job opportunities secured, more than 1500 youth trained on different employment/vocational skills). Building relations with private sector to contribute to the economic empowerment/employment of Egyptian women & youth by providing employment skills & vocational skills-based trainings;  Emphasized the fact that private sector growth and sustainability would benefit from a locally stable and appropriately skilled work force. Developed the psychological first aid/case management services for children. Trained the child protection team on the psychological first aid for children. Ensured that activities are implemented in accordance to the Plan of Action (POA) & in timely manner and in line to project budget. Contributed to the development of monitoring systems, and carry out activities to collect, process & analysis data on agreed indicators on a regular basis. Advocate and influence CSR agendas of the private sector to focus on creating and strengthening the local employment environment.
