I am a passionate postdoctoral fellow in the department of Epigenetics at Van Andel Institute, with more than 8 years of research experience. I have had training in a variety of different environments and am pursuing a future career where I can make impactful discoveries that are directly related to real world health issues across the globe. I am specialized in RNA Biology and Molecular Genetics. I have a hands-on experience in various Molecular Biology techniques including RT-qPCR, Gel electrophoresis, Cloning, Western blotting, Northern blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Site-directed mutagenesis, Genetic screening, and Protein purification. I have also worked in drug discovery and have 2 years of industry experience in pharmaceuticals.
