Sr. Network Engineer
Current- Configure, test, install, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services. Platforms like Ruckus and RGNets.- Identify, diagnose, and resolve data network issues and anomalies in a timely manner.- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and associated hardware.- Timely review and response to network issues reported to the University Helpdesk and Network Manager.- Collaborate with the Manager to develop a personal education and skills plan designed to improve and expand technical skills continually.- Daily monitoring of network devices/appliances and log review to ensure optimum network performance, network stability, and security.- Researching and implementing necessary upgrades and firmware updates.- Configure, maintain, and regularly review firewall access lists, rules, and campus network security.
