The company wanted to upgrade the way they acquire and utilize data. My team and I learned how they work and how they expected to use the new system. We then created a database with their existing data, setup a pipeline to gather data from various real estate websites, clean the data, filter it, and insert it into the database.My role was not limited to development as I also researched various real estate projects and discussed what their impact would be on the real estate market. Finally, I wrote a performance report about the first half of 2021's real estate market and what upcoming opportunities and threats might arise.

Earned this internship after winning the university's software engineering competition that Sumerge sponsored. In this internship, I worked as a part of a team to develop a React.js tool that creates SPA that interacted with other components from a single .json file. The purpose behind this tool is for business analysts to quickly prototype websites to the clients.

Taught introductory python to first year engineering and management students. The challenge of this course was changing the way students approached problems, and to start thinking computationally. To address this challenge, I used physical objects and graphics to visualize concepts and solutions to the problems. I also had the students squeeze their brains to come up with the solutions themselves instead of handing it out to them on a platter, I simply guided their thought process from a far.

Researched the topic of the inevitability of poverty with international power dynamics taken into context. Wrote an academic paper about the research my team and I have done, and then we walked the members through these findings over the course of the year through sessions and workshops to create an exciting learning environment. Finally, the members participated in a conference to find solutions that would help propel Yemen out of a famine and into prosperity.
