Tempero extends the AI value chain with advanced tools and technologies to automate compliance with impending high-risk AI regulations. We assist AI providers, insurers, and regulators in demonstrating and supporting continuous AI risk assessments. My background and personal journey raised early interests for societal and ethical questions. After actively inspiring students from minority environments, an early attempt to reconcile work with my ethical mindset led to the creation, in 2009, of the first Optimization for Sustainable Development Chair. Today, the field of Computational Sustainability is thriving, and I am proud to have contributed to its growth. I tend to devise simple solutions to complex computational problems. Do not write code, just ask for it in plain English (Bing Code Search, 2014, already with GitHub data but long before Copilot!) or have your AI assistant autocomplete it (SWIM, 2016). Do not explicitly check factual data or retrieve rich medias, let your AI assistant infer these requirements (PowerPoint Assistant 2014, long before a ChatGPT-like in PPT!). Do not a-priori organize large scale solver architectures, have them self-organize (ManySAT 2009).
