Current- Leveraging Java, Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection within the SoundCloud Android app to implement cutting-edge features and integrate the latest Android technologies.- Drove user activation and onboarding feature development, leading 15+ multivariate experiments across the product that improved user experience for millions of users.- Designed and built with the backend team to deploy API features, facilitating the transition from REST to GraphQL for enhanced performance and scalability.- Led cross-functional efforts to conduct proof of concepts, informing critical build or buy decisions for the organization's experimentation tool and API management tool used by over 100 engineers.- Initiated a team effort to create a mobile messaging proof of concept on Android, by laying the groundwork for a highly requested feature which led to increasing messaging usage significantly.- Facilitated and a proof of value project for migrating the design system and UI components from Android Views into Jetpack Compose.- Initiated and organized a company-wide Hackathon, engaging 60 engineers who actively participated in building and presenting 6 project MVPs.Skills: Android, Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Dependency Injection, Dagger, HILT, SQL, Scala, TypeScript, GraphQL, RESTful API Design, CI/CD Automation, Git, Firebase, Python.
