Key achievements at EMICOOL to date:- Successfully concluded Private placement of EMICOOL 50% shares held by Dubai Investments to Actis (a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure) at attractive multiples - Restructuring / re-profiling of more than USD 500 million debt to create liquidity for organic/inorganic growth - Conducted detailed analysis on Electricity and Water Efficiencies and negotiated Energy Efficiency retrofits plan which would increase Plant Efficiencies- Enhanced controls over CAPEX spending by enacting a system of rationalizing CAPEX spends - Developed 10 - year Business Plan in line with strategic objectives - Carried out VAT re-grouping for improved VAT compliance and management and successfully collected VAT refunds from FTA- Implemented online refunds mechanism for customers security deposits - Developed strategy for customers’ receivables resulting in improved DSO - Effectively hedged interest rates on long term loans- Member of ERP Steering Committee for Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation

Current business interest range over more than 35 entities in three business segments of real estate development and leasing, contracting and manufacturing (including education, healthcare and district cooling) and financial investments.My key responsibilities included Transaction Support for Investments (Buy and Sell), Treasury management, Group consolidated Reporting to SCA and DFM, MIS & Controls and Managing Investor Relations.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE ROLE- Facilitated first time credit rating of a Group’s major subsidiary with world’s three best credit rating institutions (namely S&P, Moody’s and Fitch)- US$ 300 million Sukuk issuance of Dubai Investments Park Development Co. - Negotiated Islamic and Conventional project finance for the Group in excess of AED 1.5 billion - Negotiated syndicated facility of AED 1,100 million for financing a mega real estate greenfield project- Lead and concluded various new investments and exits. - Prepared Feasibilities for investment in various investments products such as listed securities, fixed income, ETFs, alternates, REITS, etc. - Facilitated Group wide insurance risk review exercise and bringing up the insurance to the required levels. - Developed financial and operating policies and procedures for Finance and accounts, Treasury and Investments functions and development of DOA matrix- Developed Group ERP strategy for roll out of new ERP considering sector diversity, operational complexity, and necessity - Developed ICOFR framework and roll out to Group entities - Implemented Group wide IFRS compliant quarterly and annual reporting packages- Implemented forecast mechanism for the Group reporting tools for effective analysis of results v/s budgets and comparable periods- Lead VAT implementation project for the entire Group
