I support the development of the AMV processor for MTG-I instrument by regularly interacting with the industrial development team to test, validate and investigate features and deviation from the processing specification with respect to the reference processor and the current product retrieved by MSG. I am taking part in the commissioning of the MTG-I L2PF that is currently ongoing. Our main objective is the validation of the AMVs by applied data science and statistical analysis when comparing the output against various references datasets and measurement such as: - Current operational processor (MSG MPEF)- Collocated radio sonde measurement- Forecast field- reference processor outputFor that I have developed numerous statistical and visualisation tools that are also integrated or being integrated into the operational monitoring of the scientific quality assessment of the AMVs product taht will soon be disseminated to users. I contribute to the development of the PyTroll's Satpy reader for AMVs and EUMETSAT internal tools that are based on those readers to display and monitor L2PF outputs in real time. I am taking part in Scientific studies that aim at improving our knowledge and understanding of the physical and mathematical phenomenon behind atmospheric circulation and ways to retrieved them.

▪ Design and development of scripts and programming codes to automatize the extraction ofinformation from excel and word documents.▪ Creation of netCDF product based on text data in format specification document (word or excel).▪ Automatization of the conversion from excel to word tabular format using python to facilitate thereporting of changes in the format specification if the future products of future MTG instrumentssuch as FCI, UVN, LI or IRS.▪ Verification and validation of test dataset delivered to an external partner using trend analysis andstatistical assessment.
