Since I started with the role of Technical Lead at ThriveMarket, I have worked side by side with Product Managers/Owners, UX design, and Developers to successfully achieve many projects.I have been in charge of writing Technical Design Documents for new features, Projects, and feature enhancements.My responsibilities have been to write well-documented architectural approaches, do estimates for development, planning and monitor the work of the Developers.However, I have also been contributing with bug fixing, helping with some development work, exploring new technologies and improvements on the entire web app.I took the lead on the Analytics team, and we are responsible for integrations with Segment and Amplitude. In this team, we managed to implement Instrumentation for the entire web app. I have also worked with the Data team to plan on the events our web app should fire for analytics.

I have been working as a Fullstack Engineer at ThriveMarket. The tech stack of the web app is Next.js connected to a Magento backend (managed by another team).My most important contribution so far has been to improve the performance of the web app, I was able to make some pages to reduce loading time and time to interactive to half.I contributed to improving the performance of the entire web app with the help of techniques like Lazy loading (Dynamic imports of Next.js), deffer images that are offscreen, and memoization of React.js. I introduced a Hybrid approach for Client-Side rendering and Server Side rendering, which helped to improve user experience and perceived performance.I introduced React Query to the project, which has had countless improvements for data-fetching modules, not only for user experience but for developer experience as well. With React Query, I helped to introduce many caching and prefetching strategies that make the web app feel much smoother.With all these efforts, the Lighthouse performance scores have improved in some pages by at least 20 points.

I worked as a Fullstack JS developer, I helped to create multiple microservices using NestJS, and Azure services like Azure Cognitive Search, Cosmos DB (with Mongo API, Gremlin API), Azure Event Grid. On the Frontend side of things, I contributed to creating a web app with React.js and Ionic. Also contributed to creating a mobile app using the same technology and Capacitor.

Developing Front-End applications using React, Redux, Redux-Saga, Redux-Form, Formik, Material-Ui and others. On the Back-End side I have contributed to create APIs using Node.js, Express and AWS.

I currently work as freelancer providing software and IoT solutions for companies. Some of my achievements are:* Successfully developed a mobile application to control smart switches and also monitor the power consumption.* Developed an automation system for a bioreactor that is used to produce the chitosan enzyme, the system is able to control and monitor the pH level and temperature of the substances and includes a front-end desktop application.* Successfully developed an API layer to gather information from a clinical analyzer using HL7 for sharing health information.* Developed an IoT solution of a Thermal Printer for a point of sale (POS) service.* Successfully designed and implemented an IoT product for assisting blind people in their walk through the city.* Developed an automation system for a Hydroponic Farming System.

Development of robotic kits for educational purposes, this process considers electronics engineering and development of embedded software libraries. Some achievements are:* Successfully managed the project of designing and implementing an electronics kit that aims to improve teaching/learning the basis of electronics and programming languages, successfully achieved the goals of this project.* Contributed in a 60% to develop the main desktop application for the Robotois platform, this application contributed to improve the way beginners learn electronics and programming languages.* Developed the back-end of the main module (Raspberry PI) that synchronizes inputs/outputs to the desktop application.* Created several open-source npm packages that are relevant for IoT projects.* Successfully created an open-source project of a web application to easily configure the wireless connectivity in projects based on Raspberry PI and Raspbian Jessie.
