Power Integrated Modules DivisionKey Responsibilities:• Provide manufacturing support for set-up, downtime management, installation and lead on diagnosing equipment failures and defining interim and permanent solution to ensure uptime. • Define and execute preventive maintenance checklists & procedures, regular safety inspections, setup checklist, spare & wear part management and equipment qualification procedures for new products and/or equipment. • Develop equipment specification, assist in procuring, follow through on machine construction, buyoff, delivery, installation, qualification and release to production of new equipment within timeline, requirement and budget for new equipment/projects.• Lead a team of technicians to perform and comply to preventive maintenance schedules, safety buyoff, setup completion, downtime management. • Coach and train a team of technicians and grow technical skill sets of the equipment.

Cloud Systems & Silicon Group R&D (Engineering Development)Xyratex was acquired by Seagate in 2014.Key Responsibilities:• Development support for enterprise network storage products with a global Electronic Team located in UK/US/India.• Worked on products such as x86 Server Storage Controllers, Ethernet Network Interface Card, EBODs, Network Storage Enclosure (5U84, 4U24, 2U24, 2U12).• Developed electrical verification test plans for various signals/protocols such are SGPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, S-Parameter, SAS Compliance Test, 10/100Mbps Ethernet Compliance Test, USB Compliance Test, regulator stability, stress test and four corner test, etc.• Experienced in performing hands-on electrical test and qualification for high speed and non-high speed signal integrity. Familiar with various test equipments such as Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR), Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA), Oscilloscope, Serial Data Analyzer (SDA), etc.• Involved in cost reduction activities - brainstorming, parts evaluation/qualification and implementation. • Provided support for electrical design related escalations - to root cause and propose solutions. • Reviewer for JDM projects - schematic, PCB layout, test plan and test report.• Involved in sustaining activities to qualify various components such as (DDR, NAND flash memory, crystal, e-fuse, bus switches, high speed SAS cables, raw cards/bareboards, HDD qualification, etc) to ensure continuity of production line.
