Software developer turned Manager with strong web interface skills. I am best known for my excellent problem solving ability and my creativity. Addicted to computer programming since age of 10, I am able to understand and develop complex code.I value direct and instant feedback, as to not hinder the development speed, and fast iterations. I am deeply knowledgeable in data driven decision, as I have setup A/B testing experiments, and looked into huge data sets of results to better understand the effect of a UI on people's behaviors.After joining Facebook in 2009, I have grown as an expert in the field of Web UI, for both desktop and mobile. I delivered many features still currently used by more than a billion people worldwide, such as social widgets (for example, the "like" button you can find on CNN and others), messenger, user profiles, and News Feed. I became the Manager of the News Feed for the Web team in 2014, where I led up to twenty UI and generalist engineers split between Menlo Park and Seattle. My team helped making stories posted by friends and pages easier to read, and improved the comment interface continuously, with features like "Reactions" letting people leave a gamut of emotions on a post or a comment.
