Beacon was intended deliver an innovative solution in the politics/ advocacy space. I was brought in by the former CEO and her investors to examine monetization options when cash was at a low point. Our first action was to reduce burn by over 50%. After reviewing its commercial prospects, we then decided to shutter Beacon and donate its assets to continue.
