We finished finalists in multiple national startup competitions and had over 500 signups during our beta phase.In my primary role as the DevOps Lead I was responsible for ensuring that we maintained a 99.99% system uptime service level and guarantee a 24 hour turnaround time on any reported issues.• Architected infrastructure across multiple cloud computing service providers including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure • Engineered scalability across the application stack and built capacity to handle up to 500,000 daily users• Applied Continuous Delivery of software by setting up integration pipelines and deployment workflows on Jenkins• Set up proactive monitoring with Nagios, New Relic, Pingdom, and customized bash and powershell scripts to monitor application and system health and track KPIs• Set up logging solutions using Logstash, Graylog2 and NXLog to gain visibility across the infrastructure, correlate events and pinpoint performance issues• Created a phone-based alerting system using Plivo APIs to ensure real-time incident management• Led triage and created incident analysis reports in event of outages or performance issues to ensure awareness across the team and to collaboration on designing sustainable solutionsAlso led branding activities, social media marketing and email campaigns.
