During my time with Insureon, I directed key business drivers, including IT, engineering, and data operations. To achieve results, I established a microservices architecture to overhaul the desktop application. I managed all aspects of client implementations covering GAP analysis, help desk set-up, and analytics. I also worked with a cross-functional team to deliver a SaaS version of the platform for Wholesale Agencies.► Transformed small desktop application into agency management system (AMS) that enabled company to grow from 30 to 200+ staff and attract enterprise clients.► Architected and continuously improved system that processed $150M in total written premiums, +95K applications, +2.5M web visitors, and 250K bound policies annually.► Deployed AMS for key enterprise clients that included National Insurance Payroll, Insurance Brokerage, and HR management and payroll providers.► Enabled platform to support small commercial businesses and leading distributors which encompassed 340K applications, +2.6M quotes, $500M+ in total written premium, and 250K bound policies on annual basis along with 17K users.► Recruited and mentored team that grew from three staff to 45 onshore engineers, six offshore engineers, and Quality Assurance testers while also positioning operations to expand with additional offshore resources for large-scale projects on as needed basis.► Mitigated impact of COVID-19 pandemic and experienced zero productivity loss across all departments by successfully transitioning entire business to remote operations.

While working with Cole-Palmer, I was able to successfully turn around a failing project to implement a multimillion-dollar primary e-commerce platform. The role called on me to analyze the project to identify roadblocks and collaborate with the senior leaders to create development solutions. I restructured teams, reorganized the project budget, and set clear goals and KPIs. I also established new processes and trained the QA team to adhere to standard procedures for pre- and post-production testing.► Made critical contributions towards generating 400% increase in e-commerce revenue which took annual turnover from $20M to $100M.

In this role, I led all engineering operations for a start-up within the media procurement space. I managed the planning and development of a digital platform that enabled agents to negotiate, procure, and manage digital marketing campaigns. I also coached and mentored 20 developers and consultants along with 10 offshore engineers.► Empowered firm to reach $1.5B in combined value and platform to process $150B in global advertising spend each year by building product to process thousands of transactions while also tracking client spend, media campaigns, RFPs, vendor payments, and performance audits.► Made critical contributions during acquisition of Datatech Software Corporation by conducting due diligence and integrating digital procurement systems with Datatech’s platform and accounting modules.► Drove business development and improved efficiencies for selling ads, negotiating insertion orders, and processing invoices and RFPs by creating vendor portal buy/sell exchange.► Positioned company to rapidly scale by laying groundwork that enabled company to grow from 200 team members (at time of departure) to thousands of employees after merger with Datatech.
