Access Canberra was established to make it easier for business, community organisations and individuals to work with ACT Government. My teams support this service by ensuring sound governance and policy, finance and budget support, ICT platforms and systems, workforce capability, work health and safety, legal support and government business coordination.

Engaged for a short-term appointment to determine feasibility for a government priority project and develop an implementation strategy to resolve entrenched problems.

Deployed across the organisation to drive change and improvement. Currently deployed to the position of Executive Branch Manager, Health Policy and Strategy developing strategy for improving human services procurement.

Led team of over 80 staff across 3 sites to oversee recruitment, employee relations, industrial advice complaints handling, staff on-boarding and learning and development. Held role of Senior Executive with Responsibility for Business Integrity and Risk (SERBIR).

Led policy and legislative development, corporate governance and risk management for the removal of loose-fill asbestos. Delivered evidence-based policy that resulted in savings of millions of dollars and minimised community disruption; effective collaboration across government agencies; achievement of enabling legislation in only five weeks.

Achievements include driving cultural change across the ACT Public Service including developing the Service-wide corporate policy to promote the One Service approach. Received a Directorate award for effective collaboration through this work.Secretary to the ACT Remuneration Tribunal. Led team to advise on the Public Sector Management Act and the 'Respect, Equity and Diversity' framework, produce Annual Report Directions and State of the Service report, advice on Public Interest Disclosures, manage the ACTPS Graduate Program and professional development for the Senior Executive Service and emerging leaders

One of only two representatives selected by the ACT Government for the 2012 cohort. Subjects included Delivering Public Value, Managing Public Sector Organisations, Designing Public Policies and Programs, Decision Making under Uncertainty, Managing Government Finances and Leading Public Sector Change. Assessment required successful teamwork and collaboration in addition to individual research and essays.
