Mu Yu, Professor of Beijing Dance Academy,Member of the International Dance CouncilCID. hold a BA in Dance from Beijing Dance Academy, a MA in Dance and Musical Theatre and a PhD in Dance on Political Culture Interdisciplinary Research from the Chinese Academy of Arts. I also completed the Senior Management Arts Education Training Programme at the London Contemporary Dance School in 2008, Six Dance School Programme and NEA Arts Journalism Institute for dance criticism Programme at American dance festival in 2010.I have published several books on musical theatre, Chinese dance analysis and education in mainland China and Taiwan.I have received numerous national awards for her research and academic achievements.
