I belong to the Miao ethnic group, which comprises over 11 million people in China and also has a presence in Southeast Asia and the United States.-I pursued my studies in Beijing at the China Foreign Affairs University, which renowned as the cradle of Chinese diplomats. During my time in college, I worked as a tour guide and briefly interned at the United Nations headquarters in New York. However, my interest was captivated by China's rapidly developing internet industry.-Upon graduation, I joined an internet industry consulting company called iResearch, as an analyst covering China's e-commerce sector. During this period, I authored several reports, including the first-ever O2O (online to offline) market research report in China. My team provided industry research services for IPOs of companies like Dangdang and JD.com.-In mid-2013, after several meetings with Wang Huiwen, co-founder of Meituan, I was invited to join the Meituan Waimai as a strategic analyst.-In February 2014, I founded the tech media firm iyiou.com (亿欧), we almost covered all Chinese startups that received VC funding. Iyiou secured five rounds of VC funding, with a team of up to 240 full-time members. Besides tech media business, the firm now also offer customized research for China's tech and innovation industries.-In November 2018, I established a new firm EqualOcean, the firm’s English version focusing on reporting China's technology startups and innovation companies, while the Chinese version focuses on Chinese companies actively expanding into overseas markets. EqualOcean's mission is to bridge China and the world, helping Chinese companies better understand global business opportunities and assisting foreign enterprises in comprehending the Chinese market.-From January 2020 to January 2022, I pursued an MBA at New York University Stern School of Business. During this time, I deeply observed the comprehensive deterioration of Sino-US relations and the significant divergences when facing shared challenges.-I am an independent, non-partisan individual, received the 2019 Shanghai Youth May Fourth Medal, and the 2021 Hurun US Outstanding Innovation Awards. Additionally, I initiated the GoGlobal Committee of 100 (GGC100) in April 2023 to assist Chinese companies in global expansion.
