    I automated a series of Radio Frequency Generator tests that were part of the Acceptance Test Procedure for military radios. I had to integrate multiple waveform protocols as well as hardware devices that faciliated communication between the radio and the radio frequency environment simulator. I developed Wireshark dissectors for the waveforms and integrated the test scripts into the existing testing framework.

    I created a compiler backend for the omniidl Interface Definition Language (IDL) compiler. The backend was written in python and generated C++ stubs from IDL source code. The purpose of the project was to ease transitions to newer versions of government specifications, which are described in IDL. The project was completed ahead of schedule and I spent the last few weeks integrating generated code into the main code base. I also wrote a testing framework using PyTest and Jenkins jobs, and played around with git commit hooks.
