Current•Developed an advanced Python‐based optimization tool to determine the most cost‐effective augmentation strategies for energy storage systems. The tool analyzes battery degradation data, energy storage system configurations, equipment efficiency parameters (such as PCS, DC block, and transformers), and vendor pricing. It identifies the optimal augmentation plan by either minimizing capacity or reducing costs, and achieved an average 4.5% reduction in equipment procurement costs, translating to $1.2 million savings for medium‐sized projects.• Created a revenue analysis tool to quantify the financial benefits of integrating energy storage into existing solar power plants. The tool utilizes historical electricity prices, generation data, price forecasting, and optimized charging/discharging strategies to maximize profit. The results provide a clear projection of daily revenue and guide project development decision‐making.• Led technical communications for the Colgreen North Shore Solar Farm equipment replacement, collaborating with Chinese engineers and U.S. EPC teams to replace inverters and transformers. Successfully managed the integration of new equipment with the existing SCADA system, ensuring seamless operations.
