A key innovation was the introduction of time-sensitive SMS functionality, enabled by a scheduler running minute-by-minute checks and utilizing distributed Redis locks for message uniqueness. The system's decoupled design enhances performance and scalability, incorporating separate listeners for high-priority and general messages and a dedicated SMS receiver for Redis queues. I also implemented dynamic SMS channel management using Redis' Pub/Sub model, increasing system adaptability and reliability during large-scale SMS operations.On the reception end, the system leverages Alibaba Cloud's SMS API, ensuring reliable handling of mass messages with scalable features. I designed a Java-based SDK, making it effortlessly integrable across organizational projects. Hosted by Nexus Maven repository, the SDK features secure access via dynamic encryption and API key validations. Rigorous unit and integration tests were conducted to assure system reliability, scalability, and security. API credentials were securely managed, and dynamic encryption algorithms were configured for additional data protection.
