Yudara’s passion and motivation to work in the areas of education, equity, diversity, inclusion, and international development allowed him to make a positive change and contribute to Canadian and international communities. He collaboratively worked with community leaders, civil society organizations, newcomers, volunteers, entrepreneurs, private, public, and international organizations to promote equal access to education and sustainable economic and community development goals in communities.Yudara has expertise in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs in education, equity, diversity and inclusion, and entrepreneurship development. He also has extensive experience responding to urgent organizational and national needs, such as during armed conflicts and natural disasters in Sri Lanka, by providing education and humanitarian assistance.Yudara’s work in Canada, the UK, Sri Lanka, and several developing countries in Asia has broadened his perspectives and exposed him to diverse working environments. He has further learned and grown as a creative thinker, problem solver, educator, and proactive team player.He is passionate about advocating for equality, diversity, and inclusion.
