A childhood obsession with logical reasoning and computational figures ignited my initial interest in math and I regularly won the first prizes in primary and middle school math contests. In my university I chose many courses related to math such as Finance Mathematics, Risk Management and Fixed Income Securities and since then I have developed the core value of systematic thinking, which together with persistence and tenacity has so far richly rewarded me with excellent academic scores. For my excellent performance in my major studies and beyond, I have been nominated for the Dean’s List and won the scholarships in all semesters. Furthermore, driving by my love of math, I won the second prize at the National Level and the first prize at the Provincial Level in the Sixth Chinese Mathematics Competitions.
