I worked part time as a key holder, selling high end skincare products. Whilst working here I was trained to a senior sales level allowing me to gain some essential managerial skills, such as leadership and training up of staff. My daily duties and responsibilities consisted of opening or closing the store, and handling money. I have excellent customer service skills due to dealing with them face to face on a daily basis. Additionally I am practiced at completing the admin duties such as KPI reports and daily planners. I have gained additional skills in cashiering such as refunding and exchanging products.

I worked part time as a customer consultant, selling beauty products. I was responsible for promoting the companies values and products such as make up, fragrances, skincare and bath items. My duties consisted of dealing competently with the public, as well as interacting with the customers by participating in make-over’s and skincare demos.

I worked part time as a sales specialist here selling fashion items such as clothing and footwear. My duties and responsibilities included customer service, merchandising, and replenishing the stock. I was fully competent at dealing with customers and helping them during their visits to the store, as well as cashiering, and cashing up. I gained valuable abilities such as performing stockroom duties and answering the phones. Another responsibility I expanded my skill level in was up-selling products; having gained this ability from working with Levis before, I was able to apply this to my role easily.

I worked here full time as a sales specialist selling fashionable branded products. Whilst working here my main duties and responsibilities were customer service, and merchandising, I was also fully trained on the tills, and at cashing up during my time here. Furthermore I gained knowledge in stock taking and in up-selling products, as well as valuable experience at working in a fashion retail environment.

I had a part-time job working during the week and at weekends to finance myself whilst finishing secondary school. My work involved being introduced to cashiering duties and quickly picking up skills in cashing up, arranging the displays, and answering customer queries. I gained further skills in gift wrapping, faxing, and sorting through deliveries and customer orders

I spent two weeks for work experience at the Hyde Housing Group Head Office in their Finance Department. I worked on batching invoices, booking meetings, and E-mail appointments, gaining experience on working in a professional environment adding to my current ethos within the workplace. During my time here I gathered valuable knowledge in the workings of an office, including regulating attendance records, checking incoming and outgoing mail and updating their tenant databases.
