Oversees all partnership and relationship development, results management, and grantmaking functions of the Foundation with the goal of driving innovation and impact to "nourish and transform the lives of children who face adversity." We have three priority programmatic areas: Nutritious Food in Schools, Indigenous Food Justice for Youth, and Joyful Experiences for Children with Serious Illnesses.

An outspoken advocate for developing responsible AI applications for the social sector, Emily is building machine learning tools that help changemakers translate their ideas into impact. At AI PRIORI, a B2B and B2C SaaS platform that helps changemakers review their documents at scale and use their data more effectively, Emily manages all facets of the business and serves as the data architect. She leads the company’s strategy, finances, communications, partnerships, and data curation.

Emily led the charge to cultivate cross-sector, community-driven collaborations that support health equity as part this national award and funding collaborative. Under Emily’s leadership, she:• Supported 55 communities across the US and managed $20 million budget• Cultivated partnerships with communities, public health depts, hospitals, insurers, and foundations• Raised a $10 million fund• Facilitated programming that contributed to more than 100 legislative and organizational policy changes in the US

As first ever lead for the foundation’s Partnerships Portfolio, Emily elevated cross-sector partnerships to increase collaboration between business and governmental public health institutions. Emily led the Foundation’s partnership with the Ad Council, Business Roundtable, CDC Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Meteorite, to launch the Health Action Alliance (HAA) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Designed to encourage private sector leaders to support community health, HAA: • Forged 50 new collaborations• Engaged 1,500+ companies• Garnered 1.4 million visits to HAA resources in less than 1 year

Directed program development efforts, including platform design and marketing for dozens of social innovation programs with the goal of advancing social entrepreneurship and tech for good. Collaborated with leading technology companies including Facebook, Oculus, Microsoft, and institutions such as the White House to advance community engagement.

Provided award-winning client service while managing multiple national accounts aimed at building national movements that led to increased awareness and improved health outcomes. Led dozens of media focused initiatives on health challenges resulting in top tier media placements across print, broadcast, and social media outlets/platforms. Served as deputy of corporate partnership development for The Heart Truth® campaign, a groundbreaking women’s heart health program from the National Institutes for Health. Cultivated innovative activations with brands, such as: Diet Coke, Johnson & Johnson, Swarovski, General Mills, Celestial Seasonings, Bobbi Brown, and more.

Created a website focused on identifying talented local musicians in the DC metro area. The first of its kind, District of Sound provided consumers looking to discover local musicians in their own backyard with an outlet to do so. Managing a team of writers and artists, Emily oversaw content and business management. Washington Post Express’ readers awarded the site “Best New Blog” in 2009.

Served as the preliminary media contact for the nonprofit membership association—handling daily inquiries from the press and general public as well as crisis communications. Emily coordinated the Association’s annual awards ceremony and supported the development and execution of several national, multimedia campaigns, including one in partnership with the Ad Council.
