My researches focus on using gene therapy / dietary intervention to treat obesity and metabolic disorders, with in-depth knowledge and expertise in the following areas:1) Gene synthesis, plasmid construction, and gene delivery2) Primary cell studies: isolation, culture, treatment, and downstream analysis3) Animal studies in rodent models: IP, IV, and SC injection, blood and tissue biochemical studies, tissue histological analysis, etc.4) Plasmid transfection in mammalian cell lines, recombinant protein production, purification, and validation

As an assistant project manager, I was responsible for the final quality control of the gene synthesis products, international shipping, handling customers' feedback, and solving product-related issues.

As an assistant scientist in the Molecular Biology lab, I participated in high volumes of target gene synthesis and plasmid construction, during which I gained a deep understanding and practical experience of primers design, PCR amplification for de novo gene synthesis, restriction enzyme digestion, plasmid transformation, plasmid characterization, amplification, and purification.
