Yu-Hsin is an MSCS student at UCLA (2023-2025), having earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Tsing-Hua University. During her time at NTHU, she achieved notable recognition, securing 3rd place at the Mei-Chu Hackathon and receiving the prestigious Dr. Mei Yi-Chi Memorial Prize, the highest honor for new graduates.Yu-Hsin's undergraduate research at the Computer Games Intelligence (CGI) Lab at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University focused on the AlphaZero Algorithm and Chess Players' Strength (Elo) Detection. She also gained industry experience as a Software Engineer Intern at SparkAmplify, where she worked on front-end development for an online education platform, collaborating with back-end engineers to integrate third-party APIs for web notifications.Starting her journey at UCLA in Fall 2023, Yu-Hsin is currently a TA for Break Through Tech AI's Fundamentals of Machine Learning Program. Her coursework includes Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Computational Genomics, and Automated Reasoning. Yu-Hsin is actively seeking software engineering or machine learning engineering positions for 2025 New Grad roles and is open to discussions about potential collaboration opportunities.
