About Yu Jen Wang

I am an experienced researcher on liquid crystal physics and optical devices (8+ years). Upon the needs from versatile applications and projects, I designed liquid crystal devices with proper electro-optics performances (mostly wavefront and polarization state) and integrated them into optical systems, such as see-through augmented reality systems. Now, I focus on optical elements for AR/VR and work Meta (since 2022). Based on the principle of adaptive optics, my research articles (during PhD) are mainly focused on compensating the aberrations and tuning the image plane using liquid crystal lenses and LC freeform optical elements.
