I'm an associate at Atsumi & Sakai, a Tokyo-based law firm, and handling life science, IP, M&A and other broader range of legal matters including cross-border issues. Additionally, as the lead researcher at the Policy Research Institute, I've been engaging in policy advocacy on diverse kinds of topics, in collaboration with highly-motivated policy makers, experts and other professionals.Prior to joining the firm, I belonged to a Japanese telecom company. As an in-house counsel, for 6+ years, I'd engaged in cross-border alliancing projects, M&As, and some IP licensing projects and enhanced negotiation and drafting skills. Also, I've accumulated experience in advisory role on development of healthcare services and handling dispute resolution (domestic/cross-border) and competition/advertising law matters.
