I have experience as a psychiatrist for 20 years in Japan and have skills as a researcher as well with MD, and Ph.D. My expertise is in the areas of schizophrenia and mood disorders. I have been involved in studies of event-related responses, such as auditory function and neural oscillation, using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetoencephalography, and other imaging methods of neuropsychiatric disease. I joined the PNL in May 2017. I came to use advanced multi-modal neuroimaging methods and techniques. My research focuses on the elucidation of undetermined etiology and pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric diseases through such imaging techniques as structural MRI and diffusion tensor imaging. The goal of my research is to identify biomarkers that enable objective diagnosis and assessment of schizophrenia and other related disorders for clinical applications. While working as a psychiatrist, I also work as a cosmetic dermatologist. I am involved in slimming medicine and regenerative medicine and am also interested in homeopathy and am actively working on it.
