Management Assistant (Administrative Office)
CurrentThe Administrative Office gives support, guidance, and leadership to the City as a whole.• Answers constituents’ questions regarding policies and procedures and assists with resolving complaints for a citizenry of over 100,000 residents• Prepares proclamations and celebration of life certificates for execution by the Mayor and Council, archiving and/or distribution• Collects information from various City departments and compiles and submits the weekly report to the City Manager for review, approval, and distribution to the City Council and department heads• Assists Deputy to the City Manager with collecting, proofing, verifying, and packaging staff reports prior to submitting to the City Manager and City Clerk’s Office for inclusion in the weekly City Council Agenda• Assists Executive Assistant to the Mayor and Senior Assistant to the City Council with conducting research and compiling reports pertaining to the Inglewood Housing Authority• Schedules, maintains, and updates weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly collaborative meetings and events on the Community Room calendar in Outlook; coordinates room setup with Facilities, Custodial, and ITC staff members to ensure a successful event• Attends and assists with City-sponsored special events, such as the annual Turkey Giveaway
