- Managed all pre-opening activities of the hotel 4* with 38 rooms (purchasing, equipment, operations, staff recruitment and training, advertising, developing of contract database);- Managing daily operations of the complex including all administration duties for the management of finances, cash control, human resources, promotions and marketing; - Fully utilising the information available in the hotel and through electronic research in order to maximize guests’ satisfaction and optimize revenues; - Holding accountability for planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front desk, maintenance operations and housekeeping activities;- Producing a weekly forecast for revenues and costs and monitoring that these are maintained;- Attending tourism trade fairs and exhibitions and representing the hotel in the market place and developing relationships with key accounts.;- Monitoring and action feedback received through guest satisfaction survey, third party websites and resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within guidelines issued;- Full responsibility for recruiting, hiring and training of hotel personnel and planning of their daily assignments as well as the conduction of disciplinary actions against staff, including terminations of their contract.
