Joom is a cross-order marketplace with 400+ million installs worldwide. I was involved in testing the seller's personal account, both manually and with automated testing (50% / 50%).Responsibilities:• Testing web applications (90%) and mobile applications (10%) using emulators (Android Studio, Xcode) and the BrowserStack platform.• Conducting testing tasks for both Frontend and Backend.• Developing and maintaining test cases, checklists (TestRail, Allure), and managing the knowledge base on functionality in Notion.• Working with databases: relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB).• Writing automated tests in TypeScript using Playwright and a corporate framework based on TestCafe.• Conducting load testing using JMeter.• Analyzing logs with OpenSearch.• Testing APIs using Postman, Charles, and cURL requests.• Working with Jenkins: running and managing jobs for testing.• Deploying and configuring test environments.• Performing regression testing and supporting releases.• Testing project localization and internationalization.• Managing bugs: reporting, prioritizing, and tracking their resolution.• Participating in all stages of project development: from requirements analysis to production release.• Establishing collaboration with other departments: understanding areas of responsibility and expertise, and effectively interacting on various issues.Achievements:• Completely updated the project's test cases with detailed descriptions of functionality, enabling colleagues to quickly understand features even if they were not involved in testing them.• Implemented a new testing documentation system for feature flags, which proved valuable not only for testing but also for developers and product managers.• Automated testing of several sections of the seller's personal account, significantly reducing regression testing time before releases.
