Human Resources Manager
CurrentDiligent, organised and with a strong eye for detail, I am a thorough and highly focused Human Resources & Finance Manager. My role at Notts SVS Services has evolved and matured since starting here in 2009, when it was still known as Nottingham Rape Crisis Centre. I began as an Administrator, quickly moving on to become Office Manager before being promoted to my current role as HR & Finance Manager. I am also the nominated Data Protection Manager.This is an exciting and complex role that allows me to bring my breadth of experience and expertise to the fore. At its heart are people, and I relish the opportunity to manage both the administration team and the HR and finance component more broadly. As part of my role I manage the recruitment and selection process, developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems & procedures across the organisation. This involves handling all disciplinary processes and formal grievances, setting and reviewing pay structures and ensuring that Notts SVS Services procedures comply with employment regulations. Getting these processes right ensures a positive and productive working environment where staff are supported to succeed. I am a confident communicator with a strong commercial mindset, and my high levels of organisation, and attention to detail ensure my budget planning, payroll processing and financial monitoring and reporting is accurate and thorough. I report regularly to management, funders and trustees.
