Many of their branch offices use SoftPro Select to create orders for insurance policies and data associated with those policies. My primary responsibility in this position was to develop and maintain the SoftPro Select integration service pipeline. This pipeline moved order data from the branch local SoftPro Select instances into a centralized persistence tier for subsequent reporting and AR processing.During my time at Investors Title I also worked on services for importing data from the Investors Title Salesforce which was used to manage contacts associated with insurance policies. Additionally, I was tasked with creating a service driven addon for SoftPro Select which generated PDF documents associated with the policies. All of the services mentioned in the above projects were built using C#, ASP.NET Web API 2, SSIS and SQL Server. Over the course of working on these services, I created new endpoints, made additions/modifications to existing endpoints, made schema modifications, and created unit tests using nUnit.

I led the engineering of these services, which we developed in an N-Tier architectural style using ASP.NET Web API 2.x. I also researched and recommended HAL as a JSON hypermedia format.One of the last projects I worked on at aWhere was a service for the daily import of Forecast and Observed weather data. Toward this goal I developed a windows service that pulled and persisted satellite data from NOAA. Other notable contributions I made at aWhere include spearheading the effort to expand company experience with JVM technologies including the Play!
