At NYU Law School’s Civil Rights and Racial Justice Clinic, I serve as a Spanish Translator and Interpreter, facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking clients and English-speaking law students. This role involves translating documents and interpreting in various settings, both online and in-person.

I took the initiative to complete an 8-page policy proposal addressing the ongoing NYCT emergency brake issue. I also studied the New York Offshore Wind Solicitation RFP and drafted a memo on the purchase and sale agreement. Additionally, I managed constituent cases related to issues such as NYS Medicaid benefits and SNAP, providing informational pamphlets and assisting through in-person meetings and phone calls. Furthermore, I participated in the NYCHA Wyckoff Gardens redevelopment project and drafted a detailed memo on the subject.

In my professional capacity, I undertook diverse responsibilities with meticulous precision, conducting extensive legal research and adeptly drafting petition letters for a wide range of nonimmigrant and immigrant cases. Having successfully managed over 25 cases independently, spanning various immigration categories, I demonstrated expertise in navigating complex processes and excelling in independent work.Within my role, I expertly handled a diverse spectrum of H-1B cases, including scenarios like New Employment, Transfer, Extension of Stay, and Amendment of Job Duties. My proficiency in researching job requirements and prevailing wages, coupled with skillful navigation of regulatory systems, ensured strict compliance. This multifaceted approach underscores my expertise in managing complex immigration processes, while my dedication to tailored client communication and unwavering adherence to regulations remains a cornerstone of my approach.

In my role, I had the privilege of being part of the dynamic Hanwen Education Group, a pioneer in personalized small-group tutoring. Within this progressive educational environment, I assumed the responsibilities of instructing IGCSE Mathematics and IGCSE Further Mathematics. This allowed me to contribute to the group's mission of providing tailored educational support to students. Notably, my efforts were met with positive feedback from both my employer and the students, affirming the efficacy of the approach.
