I am Yuliia Barbashova, a business professional with experience in fashion, art, and digital retail. I began my career as an international model, gracing the pages of top magazines and walking the runway for elite fashion houses in cities such as New York, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Tokyo, Seoul, and Hong Kong. As a model, I worked on campaigns for top brands like Wella, Visa, Canon, and Pantene Pro V, and was featured on covers and editorials of L'Officielle, Italian and Russian Vogue, Jalouse, Glamour Holland, Marie Claire, German Elle, Hong Kong Elle, and Harper's Bazaar. I walked over 100 runways for designers like Lanvin, Armani, Jil Sander, Dsquared, Comme De Garcons, Yoshi Yomomoto, Hugo Boss and Adidas.I later transitioned to the art world as the General Manager of the prestigious Hadid Art Gallery in West Hollywood. I was responsible for day-to-day operations, curating and promoting exhibitions, managing staff and budget, and building relationships with artists, collectors, and other members of the art community. My partner Alanna Hadid and I curated 8 successful exhibitions, establishing the gallery as a leading institution in the Los Angeles art scene.With an entrepreneurial spirit, I moved on to build a family start-up with my husband. We created and managed two online brands offering high-quality linen bedding and natural baby sleep accessories. With early unpaid endorsements from influencer Kourtney Kardashian, Architectural Digest, and New Yorker magazine, the brands grew organically. I handled all aspects of the business, from product design to supply chain management, manufacturing, website management, digital marketing campaigns, fulfillment, and customer service. Together, we successfully built the business from scratch, generating over 1 million USD in revenue.Since December 2022 we established a new project - HazelHearts, a co-investment community (DAO) productizing hazelnuts that is verified on the blockchain as a part of Nights & Weekends Buildspace accelerator program for web3 startups.Since May 2023 I am a student at MD program at Akaki Tsereteli State University located in Kutaisi, Georgia.
