My current role is to be the product engineer for the products: Jasper Connectivity, CSR and Coverage Apps; Formal Signoff Methodology and Jasper-IMC-vManager integration.In this role I bring different teams together to ensure the software is delivered with state of the art technology and quality. This requires deep technical understanding of formal verification and daily usage of soft skills like communication, collaboration and negotiation.I am involved in technical engagements with customers that lead the semiconductor industry. As part of these engagements I had the opportunity to travel multiple times to the US, South Korea and China.I’ve recruited five product engineers for the team and personally trained and mentored two of them.

In my first two years at Cadence I worked as a developer of Assertion-Based Verification IP for the IP Group. I worked with PIPE, PCIe and AXI protocols. I used the VIP to verify the design in simulation and formal.

CEITEC was a design center and foundry funded by the Federal Government of Brazil to develop strategic projects. In the two years there I worked in two projects:CTC21001: E-passport and derivatives- I was responsible for verification of several subsystems, from planning to implementation and coverage analysis- I started a successful initiative to make a compatibility layer to allow a gradual migration from pure systemverilog to UVM verification, without interfering with existing code or stopping the work of the other team membersInternal IP: Memory management unit- I worked on the implementation of a UVM verification environment for an internal IP (configurable, scalable, memory management unit)- Planned and implemented the environment to also be configurable and able to validate itself to each new configuration setting- Delivered a 16h training on basic UVM verification to CEITEC’s verification team.

IC Brazil was a 1-year education program funded by the Federal Government of Brazil that trained over 800 engineers in IC design and verification during its ten years of existence.I worked as manager of IC Brazil training center in Porto Alegre, which included managing design projects with teams of up to 26 designers. My main activities were:- Management of the training program: Development and tracking of scope, schedule and assigned tasks- Technical management of the Zigbee project: Implementation of a baseband transceptor for the Zigbee protocol (IEEE 802.15.4)The functional verification of the signal processing algorithms was performed using Specman e language and wreal models for the analog subsystems
