I recently earned my PhD in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, where I conducted research in the Chaudhuri Lab. My work centers around the development of dynamic covalent crosslinked (DCC) hydrogels with tunable mechanical properties, designed for applications in regenerative medicine and advanced drug delivery systems.A key focus of my research is designing hydrogels for controlled bacteriophage (phage) delivery, targeting wound infections caused by multidrug-resistant nosocomial pathogens, in collaboration with Bollyky lab. I have developed both in vitro and in vivo methodologies to optimize phage therapy, while exploring the impact of treatment on resistance generation and host immune responses. My work bridges biomaterials science and infectious disease treatment, aiming to advance the practical application of phage therapy.
