I am passionate about computer programming, kernel/driver stuff. I published my first book about Linux kernel in china. which is based on Linux 2.6.25. I got very strong foundation of computer science knowledge and very strong problem solving ability. I've developed utility to solve network problem when I was in college which is used by most of my classmates at the time.I want give an example to show my problem solving ability. but use detail informations of a company project is not good.Here is my Open source project -- virtual monitorVirtualMonitor allows you to use compute, tablet, smartphone as a second monitor for your primary computer. The following snapshot is an example of using IPad as a second monitor. I worked on this project in my leisure time. with limited resources, I want to re-use open source code as possible as i can. Virtual Monitor includes two important components:1. A virtual driver will create an extra virtual monitor device. then from OS kernel point of view, It will detect this additional monitor. OS will send drawing command to this virtual driver, and driver will draw the content in it's buffer. Some virtualization software use this technology. e.g. vmware, virtualbox. VirtualBox has a sets of Guest Addition Drivers. one of them is VirtualBox Graphic Driver. this Driver Create a Display object in Guest OS. and will send "pixels" data to host OS through Guest Host Share Memory Mechanism. Then Host OS will draw the "pixels" on VirtualBox's main Window. I Ported this driver works on Host OS directly, which means, without virtualbox, you can install this driver native OS, then you will get a additional display, just like you plug in a external VGA monitor. This driver receive GUI request. and draw pixel to framebuffer in memory. 2. Now based on above achievement, I ported libvncserver to windows. It will read pixel data from the virtual driver, then send to client. check http://virtualmonitor.github.io/ for more information.
