Reported several stories on a variety of topics that were censored over my objections, including a story on the bully culture at a local school that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old teenager. Highlights included:•Broke a 5,000-character story on a group of gynecologists fighting for national free access to HPV vaccines.•Wrote two 4,000-character stories for an investigative series on the underground plastic surgery industry in China that were published on the front page of a special edition.•Contributed to the coverage of 2021 Henan floods that caused more than 400 casualties. Wrote the first-day breaking news story, complete with detailed timeline of the disaster.
