Hi, I’m Yuning Ying. I’m a junior at the University of South Carolina, studying finance major in the Darla Moore School of Business. One of my family members gave me an enlightenment in business studies. She graduated from Stanford University and now works as a CFO in a branch of Amazon. She has been my role model since she was a child, so I also have a keen interest in finance. Because of this, when I was first admitted to UofSC, I was admitted to the finance major, and later added mathematics as my minor, because I think my mathematics can exercise people's thinking and help me study business. In addition, my family is a business family in China, and most of the family members are in business, so I have often participated in small business activities since I was a child. I used to intern as a sales manager in a company in China during the summer of my sophomore year. Although this job is not compatible with my major, it can help me understand business. I hope to get an internship opportunity because I hope to get an internship experience during school. If I succeed, I will continue to work even after graduation.
