• Work with Dr. Desai and Ph.D. students to perform pain and addiction studies with animals • Receive lab skills training such as mice injection and pain assay  • Perform animal research using fentanyl, cannabinoid, and other related drugs • Perform conditioned place preference (CPP) experiment with rats

• Work with Professor Sromek to perform multi-step organic chemistry synthesis• Take lab skills training such as H-NMR and Column Chromatography • Develop synthetic strategies to radio fluorinate a key endocannabinoid enzyme inhibitor• Perform varieties of contemporary organic synthesis methods including Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling, Suzuki coupling, etc.

• Assisting the rehab therapists with patient treatment programs including therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training• Working on physical therapy department maintenance, equipment inventory, daily supply inventory, anddepartment clerical responsibilities• Working with a wide range of patient diagnoses; interacting with all members of the healthcare team including Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, nursing, and doctors
