At Aureon I provide user workstation and server support. I provide patch management for customer vSphere environments. This position also focuses on Microsoft cloud products such as Office 365, Exchange, Entra ID. As I continue to work and observe issues, if practical, I will write Powershell scripts to automate such resolution processes to improve.

I serve as an escalation point for our support teams and collaborate with them. Along with our other engineering teams to find solutions to complex problems. I also have the role of mentoring our support teams and documenting problems. I work with multiple platforms, specializing in virtualization. However I am also familiar with our DR platform.

I work with several platforms which include VMware, Veeam, Zerto, Fortigate, Pure, Netapp, and Cisco firewalls. I am particularly focused on performance monitoring and diagnostics for storage and virtualization. This includes looking at the nuances involved with CPU utilization in VMware hosts as well as storage. While the amount of hard skills is great.

I manage several of our critical systems which include VMware, Veeam, and storage. I have performed installation, configuration, and implementation with these systems. I also have some advanced understanding of the network to perform some troubleshooting with the servers and to add them to our switches.

Oftentimes I am required to do data-auditing for accuracy and do some basic network troubleshooting. About once a year I will also do systems testing for new software upgrades.
