I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Engineering, working both at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory. My current research focuses on studying the molecular interactions at water-solid interfaces to obtain high selectivity for capturing water pollutants like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Our broader goal is to address grand water challenges caused by legacy and existing pollutants through molecular engineering and material design.I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials & Engineering at Zhejiang University, where I gained broad research experience in polymer science including polymer synthesis, polymer characterization, block copolymer self-assembly, and biopolymer for biomedical applications.
