As the Head Chef I was responsible for the creative direction and operations of the kitchen. With a focus on service delivery, rostering, procurement, budgeting, menu development, as well as hiring and training of staff. Working closely with the General Manager, we led the business through the good and bad times (Covid-19). We ran a very successful operation throughout - retaining staff and customers, keeping quality high, and driving up profits while reducing overall spend.

Promoted to Sous Chef. Responsibilities increased to include all of kitchen operations, and study directly under the Head Chef.

Approached by the general manager to take on a demanding chef role. My drive for deeper knowledge of the kitchen and passion for authentic Mexican food made this a simple decision.Responsible for prep of my section, stock management, cooking and clean down.

I started a small business to work alongside my career as a chef. Providing fresh and artisanal small goods for personal kitchens, and occasional catering for small events.

Primary duties involved daily running of store operations, recruitment, training, procurement, budgeting, payroll, cooking, and building a strong and positive culture within the workplace.Consistently achieved 92%+ in internal audits conducted by National Head Office.

During this contract, my primary task was the restructure of the information management system. This included both physical and digital documentation of all practitioners in New Zealand. The work was completed 3 months early and resulted in a consolidated information management system in which the Board could operate with better user experience and function.

As a General List Executive (Warfare) Officer I was primarily charged with the navigation and safety of the ship whilst at sea and running the ship's routine.Whilst on land I had the privilege of posting to Directorate of Sea Power and Warfare where my duties consisted of supporting Staff Officers (heads of their respective warfare domains) in any way possible. This included organising international conferences, re-structuring the information management system, writing/editing of internal publications and keynote speeches, weapons data analysis, website design, and ad hoc administrative duties.
