Senior Reservoir Geophysicist at Equinor, member of Pre-Salt Group, currently working in Bacalhau project (pre-salt, Santos basin).Geophysicist graduated from UFF in 2013 with additional degree in Reservoir Geomechanics from Stanford University. 10 years experience, starting his professional journey as an intern at ANP and later Schlumberger, where he got hired as Geophysicist worked for 6 years with Geoscience consulting projects and software support. Early 2020, Yuri joined PetroRio (PRIO) G&G team to work on Frade field revitalization campaign - where he became asset leader. Also, he supported on geomechanics studies and development of Wahoo field.Experience in siliciclastic/turbidites (post-salt) and pre-salt carbonates reservoir characterization. Main maturity on geophysics activities as 2D-3D seismic interpretation, advanced geophysics evaluation (QI), seismic-well correlation, 3D geological modelling support, fracture modeling (DFN), well planning and geosteering. Also, got experience supporting 1D wellbore stability studies and 3D geomechanical models. Brief knowledge in risk assessment and exploration prospect maturation. Additionally, have also collaborated with ResEng. team - in drainage strategy plans, reserve estimation and dynamic model calibration.
