Designed and implemented its policies and procedures. Managed day to day legal matters affecting PDV Caribe (PDVSA's subsidiary) and 12 mixed companies in 12 countries. • Lead counsel in the negotiation and drafting of EPC, service and supply contracts with Foster Wheeler, JGC, SNC Lavalin, Schlumberger, Petroservices GMBH, Gazprom, Siemens Oil & Gas and China National Petroleum Corporation, among others with average value over $1.7 billion. • Performed ongoing consultation for strategic negotiation and drafting of Memorandum of Understandings (MOU), confidentiality agreements, master services agreements and EPC contracts for Orinoco Oil Belt Project with several IOCs. • Advised in the negotiation and drafting of the articles of association and by-laws of 8 mixed companies formed by IOCs like ENI, PETRONAS, Petro Vietnam, and Petro Ecuador, among others, and PDVSA to carry out joint venture projects in different areas.
