Mechanical engineer with more than 10 years working in the direction, control and improvement of production lines in the metalworking sector, specifically in the manufacture of pipes and in the remanufacturing of ISO Tanks (Tank Container).During the time that I was working in pipeline production lines, you controlled the productivity through indicators (KPI) of availability, performance, quality and efficiency of the line, that is, the use of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). I improved production KPI and complied with the parameters of the ISO 9001 quality management system, in which as head of the EMT plant I attended external quality audits (ISO 9001) and product audits (UL 797 and NTC 103, 105). To achieve this improvement, teamwork with the production, maintenance and quality department was essential. With the maintenance department, I worked on the solution of the most repetitive failures and those that caused the greatest impact in reducing availability. With the quality department I worked to reduce defects caused by the properties of the material. And the production area used lean tools for productivity improvement such as SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies), failure analysis and 5S.The improvement of the productivity of the remanufacturing process, which was in its first stages of production, initially consisted of knowing the regulations in force (IMDG, ISO 668, ISO 1493-3, ISO 6346, ACC ITCO) and the flow of the production process. In this way I started with the measurement of time, KPI control and in this way have a more detailed diagnosis of the process.
