Working for a fast paced growing company for the last 4 years headquartered in Spokane, WA but working in their Seattle offices as a project manager. My job was to assist the company in various projects and manage the Seattle office. My basic job description when I was hired was to run a project that the company had going but due to my NDA I can't fully disclose any specifics, what I can tell you is that I was in charge of a group of 7 people and I had to lead them, teach them, making them efficiently work as a team, as one finger in the same fist. Everyday was basically solving problems, making boxes fit into circles. I had to think out of the box for solutions for any issues that arose, I had to train my team to work cohesively and effectively together, for example, when every team knows their job everything gets done faster and if they don't know their job all your doing is babysitting them, when they get to work in the morning they need to know what to do, when the deadlines are, how to coordinate with each other, and work together as a team. When they started out I felt like I was babysitting them because every five minutes they were asking what should i do and what needs to be done. In 6 months I whipped them into shape working as one cohesive unit, if they had a problem they solved it if they couldn't figure it out they would come to me and try to solve it and if i didn't know I would go to my boss and try to come up with a solution to the issue. I am proud to say that we did come under budget and under schedule by 10% on projects while i was there. References available upon request.

Cascade group of motels is a small company that owns 7 motels with 5 in Whatcom County and 2 in Snohomish county. I started as a part time front desk clerk in charge of running the front desk, checking customers in, taking reservations, and making sure customers were satisfied. I was then promoted to assistant manager and responsible for training new hires, payroll, reconciling the til at end of shift, and making bank deposits. My next promotion was to manager and in addition to the responsibilities I stated above, I was in charge of remodeling and upgrading the rooms during my summer breaks.
