I am a creative communications specialist with over ten years of experience in print production, digital design, branding and strategic marketing design. I have an Executive MS in Strategic Communication from Columbia University and a BFA in Electronic Design & Multimedia. My specialties include:Digital design – at Informa I managed all photography/illustrations and generated all web design concepts including eblasts, newsletters, animated flash, gif images, photo editing and manipulation. I produced website materials for the industry’s top selling digital and print healthcare magazines. Marketing and branding – at ICSC, I create communication design materials including posters, banners, flyers, brochures, logos, promotional items and print ads while maintaining the complete look and feel of their brand. Most recently I was the lead designer for a fundraising campaign that raised more than $1,000,000 in pledges. I was awarded the Hermes Creative Awards Platinum distinction for that project.Print production – at Informa, I managed the complete production process for two of the company's most lucrative monthly magazines in Healthcare that had a combined total of over 100,000 subscribers.Project and client management – every role I have held requires effectively managing time, budgets, and relationships. Whether managing my director's expectations, supervising designers, serving my freelance clients on various projects or maintaining vendor relationships I bring integrity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach into every interaction.Outside of my design career, I am an advocate for the homeless population in NYC through my fundraising project, Homelessforoneweek.com. Thus far, I have raised over $12,000 for homelessness prevention organizations and was honored by Manhattan Borough President with a NYC Proclamation as “Artist and Advocate against Homelessness”.
